Dedication.

Fire Island has been an essential part of my adult life for over 20 years. Since my early introductions to the island, I found immense value in meeting people of such varied experiences who all share two common traits - the second being a desire for community and belonging.

I have learned so much about life and about myself through the many family dinners I've had in houses I've shared and houses I've had the pleasure to visit as a guest. The lessons about our history, the parables about questionable choices made in decades past and, the vision of how beautiful life could be were all gifts given to me by the Pines residents who had been there since long before I was born. 

​

To honor those memories, it's important to me that our multi-generational community continues to share this space to remind each other of where we've come from and experience where we're going.

 

In support of that mission, Prologue extends its services to the Pines residents who find themselves "between houseboys" and whose experience on Fire Island would be extended and enhanced by having some of the day-to-day tasks of comfort accomplished by someone from our team. Both the service and the companionship are complementary.
